B&I Client – Collaborative Seating

As part of a workplace transformation programme, RDA were appointed to design and install the main restaurant/break-out space seating at this large London B&I campus site. The client brief was to take the very traditional, canteen-style seating area and turn it into a space in which workforce could eat, meet, work, collaborate and relax. Canteen style seating was removed and replaced with carefully zoned spaces including a Café, casual dining seating, group meeting area, cosy lounge spaces, a gaming area and even a dedicated space for community groups. High end furnishings were used throughout, and zones broken up with mobile acoustic panelling and stunning planted shelving units. The result, a beautiful light atrium space that employees can enjoy from the start of their working day right through to the end.
