RDA have partnered with the team at The O2 on several exciting projects over recent years, across the venue’s different tiers of hospitality spaces. The bright, urban feeling Nescafe Azera lounge on the GA concourse boasts a brick wall with hand painted artwork, concrete effect countertop, specialist coffee equipment and bespoke lighting design. The project in the exclusive The Amex Lounge, was focused on largely improving operations through a premiumisation of the bar and food service counter. Blackened metal cladding and antique mirrors were used and social, group furnishing installed. On suite level we were tasked with designing and installing a concourse bar in partnership with Budweiser. Strictly adhering to the brands urban, industrial guidelines the centre piece is a curved concrete bar featuring inset repeat pattern brand icons and LED lighting. And in the Compass suite the brief demanded effortless, high-end style to deliver a premium guest experience, with a focus on food and drinks. Executed with a hand made solid oak wall and ceiling feature, premium fabrics, brass edged marble tables and a butlers sink in which to chill drinks.
